Requirements

  • LVN or RN license required (California)
  • Prior experience in skilled nursing or post-acute care strongly preferred
  • Leadership or supervisory nursing experience required (ADON, Unit Manager, or similar)
  • Strong clinical knowledge, organizational skills, and attention to detail
  • Positive attitude with the ability to motivate and support staff

Responsibilities

  • Assist the Director of Nursing with daily clinical operations and oversight
  • Support regulatory compliance (CDPH, CMS) and survey readiness
  • Provide leadership, guidance, and mentoring to nursing staff
  • Ensure high standards of resident care, safety, and clinical excellence
  • Participate in staff training, performance management, and quality improvement initiatives
  • Step in for the DON as needed
