About The Position

We are located among the rolling hills of the picturesque driftless region in southwest Wisconsin, just south of Platteville and a short 10-minute drive from Dubuque, Iowa. $83,000 - $104,000 per year, based on experience

Requirements

• Active license as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the State of Wisconsin.
• Knowledge and/or experience in geriatrics.
• Supervisory experience preferred.
• Experience in Minimum Data Set preferred or willingness to train.
• Knowledge and/or experience with state and federal regulations.
• Commitment to quality outcomes and services for all individuals.
• Ability to relate well to all individuals.
• Ability to maintain and protect the confidentiality of information.
• Ability to exercise independent judgment and make sound decisions.
• Ability to adapt to change.

Nice To Haves

• Supervisory experience preferred.
• Experience in Minimum Data Set preferred or willingness to train.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning, organizing and directing nursing service.
• Control and evaluation of nursing service in order to meet the total nursing needs of the resident and maintain a quality of service that will fulfill the objective of the nursing home, and be in accordance with the policies set forth by the nursing home.
• Supervise care and management of shift.
• Plan and participate in in-service training and orientation programs.
• Coordinate the care planning program.
• Other duties as assigned.
• This role will also have Clinical Reimbursement responsibilities to oversee the nursing home assessment and submission of Minimum Data Set (MDS).
