About The Position

Recruit Secure is collaborating with a very large (250+ beds), highly rated Skilled Nursing Facility located in Brooklyn that is seeking an Assistant Director of Nursing Services (ADON ) ready for the next step as a Director of Nursing Services (DON ) . The DON will be responsible for maintaining the quality of care throughout the entire facility, as well as managing, training, and supporting the nursing services staff. The ideal candidate for this position must have previous experience in Skilled Nursing Home environments, strong experience as an Assistant Director of Nursing in a relatively large facility, and demonstrated nursing leadership and a strong ability to work with and develop teams. An in-depth knowledge of regulatory compliance for the Skilled Nursing Homes is expected. Salary will be based on experience. A generous salary and benefit plans are offered.

Requirements

• BRN degree
• Active NY State license
• Experience (at least 2 years) working as an Assistant Director of Nursing i n a Skilled Nursing Home.
• Knowledgeable with State and Federal regulations and compliance guidelines
• Able to participate and assist in DOH Survey process.
• Experience developing and fostering collaborative teams
• Strong interpersonal and effective communication skills
• Strong problem resolution skills
