Delta View Post Acute is seeking a dynamic Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) to join our management team. In this critical role, you will work side-by-side with the Director of Nursing (DON) to lead our clinical staff and ensure our residents receive the highest standard of 24/7 care. Requirements

  • Current, valid California LVN License (RNs also encouraged to apply; BSN preferred).
  • 3–5 years of nurse management experience, preferably in a long-term care or skilled nursing environment.
  • Proven ability to supervise and manage a diverse clinical staff.
  • Exceptional communication skills and the ability to maintain strict confidentiality for residents and employees.
  • A deep commitment to resident rights and clinical quality.

Responsibilities

  • Assist the DON in planning, developing, and supervising all nursing activities and department objectives.
  • Play a lead role in recruiting, hiring, training, and mentoring both licensed and non-licensed personnel.
  • Oversee daily clinical operations, conduct rounds, and monitor resident conditions to ensure safety and superior care delivery.
  • Assist with employee appraisals, problem-solving, and disciplinary actions to maintain a high-performing team.
  • Serve as a vital liaison between residents, families, and physicians, ensuring all parties are informed and residents are treated with the utmost respect.
  • Stay ahead of regulatory changes, assist in developing policies/procedures, and help conduct ongoing in-services for the nursing team.
  • Act as the primary back-up for the DON and assist with direct resident care as needed to ensure seamless facility operations.
