The Assistant Director of Honors Student Formation serves as a staff leader in the Regent University Honors College and a member of the Dean's leadership team. This role advises and represents the Dean in matters of student advising and formation, helps steward the Honors College's vision and makes operational decisions in advising, student experience, and cross-institutional coordination. The Assistant Director supervises the Honors College Advising Specialists, maintains a partial advising caseload, and serves as the authoritative voice on complex or exceptional student advising situations across the Honors College. This is a leadership position that requires independent judgment, strategic thinking, and the confidence to represent the Honors College in institutional settings with delegated decision-making authority. The Assistant Director works as a collaborative peer alongside the Honors College faculty directors, contributing to the Dean's leadership team as a trusted advisor on student experience, advising strategy, and the ongoing development of the Honors College advising model.
