About The Position

Waldorf Astoria is looking for an Assistant Director of Food & Beverage to join the Park City team! With 150 rooms, 4,000 square feet of banquet space, and 3 food and beverage outlets, this award-winning Forbes 4-Star boutique property offers elevated comfort food inspired by mountain regions from around the world. In this role, you will oversee the front-of-house food and beverage operations a 3-meal restaurant, seasonal pool restaurant, banquet operations and 24-hour in-room dining. You will be managing a team of 70+ in season and reporting directly to the Director of Food & Beverage. The ideal candidate will be an exceptional and driven leader with a passion to develop and inspire others, and excellent at building teams. At least 3-5 years of F&B management experience is required with a luxury background strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the management of all Food and Beverage operations to include, but not limited to, guest service, food and beverage quality, inventory management, outlet reservations and occupancy, systems management, budget and forecasting, marketing, report generation, department management and meeting participation and facilitation
  • Monitor and develop team member performance to include, but not limited to, providing supervision and professional development, scheduling, conducting counseling and evaluations and delivering recognition and reward
  • Develop and implement menus and food and beverage marketing strategies in partnership with the Director of Food & Beverage and the culinary team
  • Monitor and assess service and satisfaction trends, evaluate and address issues and make improvements accordingly
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, sanitation and alcohol awareness standards
  • Recruit, interview and train team members.
