This hotel is owned and operated by an independent franchisee, Makeready. The franchisee is a separate company and a separate employer from Marriott International, Inc. The franchisee solely controls all aspects of the hotel’s employment policies and practices, including hiring, firing, discipline, staffing, compensation, benefits, and all other terms and conditions of employment. They supervise the accounts payable, accounts receivable, cashier and night audit team members plus assist the Director of Finance with training, developing and empowering the team to make thoughtful decisions for business operation. Requirements

Prior experience as a Finance Manager or Assistant Director of Finance with a hotel required.
Prior experience in management.
Highly organized and detailed-oriented
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite required (Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.)
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Nice To Haves

Prior experience with a largescale ERP highly preferred

Responsibilities

Ensure financial operations align with the company's goals and objectives
Assist in preparation and review of daily reports to monitor financial performance.
Lead the month-end closing process, ensuring accurate and timely reporting
Review and reconcile daily bank transactions and cash flow updates
Conduct mid-month P&L reviews to ensure expenses are in line with forecasts and budgets
Assist in preparation of annual budgets
Ensure payment of all necessary taxes and maintaining compliance with local regulations
Prepare responses and reports as needed for internal and external stakeholders
