Requirements

Diploma or Degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanics, Electrical or Electronics.
Minimum 3 years experience in a Hotel/ Resort or management of a building with similar facilities to a hotel as an Assistant Director of Engineering or Engineering Manager.
Availability to work with flexibility of schedule and rotation of shifts.
Proven knowledge of typical building critical equipment such as chillers, boilers, HVAC, as well as general MEP, and managing respective PM scheduling both through direct reports as well as contracted labor of such equipment.
Experience in in both labor management and financial management.
Experience with work order management (WO) and inventory management.
High skills in communication, organization, problem solving, adaptability to change, delegate powers and strategic thinking.
Basic computer skills such as Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point, Internet, Windows.
Experience with computer systems and management of computer-assisted maintenance, such as MP System, BMS, Autocad, etc.).
Ability to sit, stand and walk for extended periods, bend, climb stairs and lift up to 50 lbs.
Fluency in English (spoken and written) and Spanish is a plus.

Nice To Haves

Experience in managing or assisting in major renovation projects of critical equipment and public spaces (preferred)
