POSITION SUMMARY : Direct s the installation and repair of all electrical, plumbing, mechanical, and architectural systems throughout the facility to ensure safety and efficient operations. Directs Engineering staff. Responds to emergency situations as needed. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Develop and oversee preventive and corrective maintenance programs to ensure facility reliability and longevity. Implement and enforce departmental policies and procedures to support consistent and effective performance. Ensure all facility operations comply with health, safety, environmental, and security regulations to protect staff and guests. Lead facility and grounds projects from planning through completion, including scope definition, approvals, resource coordination, and outcome evaluation. Develop and maintain emergency preparedness plans, conduct staff training, and regularly test systems and procedures. Provide accurate pricing for materials, parts, and supplies on work orders. Manage the acquisition, distribution, and proper use of tools, equipment, and supplies. Assist with resolving warranty issues related to equipment and services. Support the development of capital and operating budgets, using historical data and business forecasts, and monitor expenses for accuracy. Assist the Director of Engineering in leading weekly departmental safety meetings. Serve as acting manager or supervisor during absences to ensure continuity of operations. Deliver exceptional service to internal and external customers, following Service Standards and responding to guest needs professionally. Work with legal and finance to n egotiate and manage third-party contracts, ensuring compliance with agreed specifications and terms. ALL OTHER DUTIES AS ASSIGNED
