The Department of Family Medicine has an outstanding opportunity for an Assistant Director of Educational Evaluation and Analytics to join our team. The Assistant Director of Evaluation and Analytics provides strategic and operational leadership for program evaluation and learner assessment across MEDEX Northwest, a multi-campus Physician Assistant program within the Department of Family Medicine (DFM) at the University of Washington School of Medicine. The position leads cross-campus data and evaluation initiatives that drive continuous program improvement, support student learning outcomes, and ensure compliance with ARC-PA accreditation standards. The Assistant Director serves as a key member of the MEDEX leadership team and partners with faculty and staff to advance a culture of accountability and educational excellence. This position directly impacts the quality and accountability of MEDEX Northwest’s educational programs, which enroll approximately 240 students annually across five campuses. The role is critical to maintaining ARC-PA accreditation and ensuring the program meets its mission of preparing competent Physician Assistants to serve diverse communities. The Assistant Director’s work supports program excellence, informs leadership decision-making, contributes to educational scholarship, and enhances the School of Medicine’s reputation for innovation in health professions education. The Assistant Director serves as a key member of the MEDEX leadership team, chairs the MEDEX Evaluation Committee, and partners with faculty and staff across all MEDEX campuses to advance a culture of continuous improvement and educational excellence. The role ensures that evaluation and assessment practices drive data-informed program decisions, support student learning outcomes, and maintain compliance with ARC-PA accreditation standards. The Assistant Director collaborates closely with program leadership, faculty, and staff; leads cross-campus data and evaluation initiatives; and contributes to educational scholarship and faculty development efforts.
