Essential Functions: Demonstrate the values and guiding principles of OhioGuidestone, performing with the highest standards of excellence, integrity and ethics. Manage and coordinate MRSS program operations, including staff training, scheduling, service coverage, and compliance with organizational and state standards. Oversee fiscal management of MRSS programs, including budget development, monitoring, documentation, billing compliance, and responsible allocation of resources. Ensure timely and appropriate response to behavioral health crises in a culturally responsive manner that acknowledges clients’ unique and intersecting identities. Support staff in crisis intervention, de-escalation, behavioral health assessments, and decision-making regarding appropriate levels of care. Develop and implement program plans, goals, and outcome measures aligned with MRSS guidelines, agency strategy, and community needs. Ensure all MRSS services meet internal, contractual, regulatory, and accreditation standards; monitor and adapt services as requirements evolve. Oversee compliance with MRSS workflows, documentation standards, and data collection/reporting requirements. Interpret and support agency policies, implement industry best practices, and ensure quality outcomes across MRSS services. Provide direction for program expansion, implementation, monitoring, and evaluation across assigned regions or service areas. Serve as a resource for clinical consultation and crisis management when needed. Support promotional efforts to increase awareness of programs and services. Maintain a small caseload of direct service (individual, group, or family support) as needed. Advocate strongly for clients, ensuring access to services and supports during and after program involvement as needed. Lead, coach, and mentor assigned direct reports, as well as oversee and uphold performance standards and the level of accountability within the department Demonstrate positive leadership, promote a team-based work environment and a culture of belonging. Requirements

  • Master’s degree in Social Service or related field required
  • LISW, LPCC, or LIMFT with supervisor designation is required
  • Experience in the not-for-profit, medical, mental health or social work fields with diverse staff.
  • 3+ years’ experience in managing direct reports with strong ability to exercise sound judgement and discretion.
  • Minimum of 3–5 years of experience working with youth and families in behavioral health or crisis settings.

  • Effective interpersonal skills; able to speak effectively with individuals and/or groups of people
  • Ability to customarily and regularly exercise discretion and good professional judgment
  • Knowledgeable of Ohio licensing and related laws, grant writing and healthcare and in-home therapy
  • Positive reputation and strong sense of personal accountability with the ability to delegate where needed
  • Knowledge of OHMAS, ODH standards and other external organizations, regulations and criteria related to Case Management
  • Flexible; able to workdays, evenings, and/or weekends, as desired to meet the needs of clients
  • Strong organizational skills: able to handle multiple priorities with strict attention to detail and perform work independently
  • Ability to maintain relevant, timely documentation as required
  • Effective computer literacy skills, including Windows applications, Microsoft Office Suite, and electronic health records, etc.
  • Must be able to access work locations, offices, and homes as necessary, which may include ascending/descending stairs

  • Possess a valid Ohio Driver’s License with a safe driving record and valid insurance
  • Successfully complete pre-employment screenings, including drug tests, background checks, and any other required assessments, such as a physical examination and TB test.
