About The Position

The Assistant Director of Internship and Advanced Degree Partnerships at Clemson University is responsible for enhancing experiential learning opportunities and reducing opportunity gaps through the cultivation of partnerships. This role involves increasing support for faculty and staff, developing partnerships with the Graduate School, and serving in a career counseling capacity to assist students in accessing internships and professional development opportunities.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field.
• Experience working in student services programs.

Nice To Haves

• Master's Degree or coursework towards a Master's Degree.
• 1+ years of experience in career services, experiential learning, human resources, recruitment, or related fields.

Responsibilities

• Develop partnerships with campus partners, employers, and stakeholders to promote experiential learning opportunities.
• Manage domestic and international career treks, preparing students for participation.
• Develop and implement programming to increase graduate student utilization of the Center's services.
• Provide comprehensive career counseling and workshops to individuals and groups within a large student body.
• Research best practices for promoting experiential learning and assist with the Career Center's core competency initiative.
