UW Medicine Advancement is seeking an Assistant Director for Faculty and Clinician Engagement. UW Medicine aims to improve health through excellence in clinical, research, and education programs across the five-state WWAMI region. The UW Medicine Advancement team, consisting of 95 individuals, works to connect donors with opportunities to enhance patient care, expand education, and advance research, also engaging alumni of the UW School of Medicine. In the 2025 fiscal year, UW Medicine Advancement raised nearly $382 million. The Assistant Director for Faculty Engagement and Operations is responsible for supporting the faculty engagement program by developing patient outreach strategies, supporting strategic communications, and maintaining operational workflows. This role collaborates with faculty engagement team leadership to design programs, tools, and resources for frontline fundraisers to educate and connect with faculty and clinicians, fostering partnerships and philanthropic success. The Assistant Director uses strong project management and collaboration skills to coordinate operations across multiple projects, ensuring program growth and impact. Additionally, the position refines program communications and resources to strengthen faculty engagement and grateful patient pipeline development, and manages administrative functions for team effectiveness. The ultimate goal is to build philanthropy awareness and engagement across the UW Medicine health system, enhancing fundraising outcomes through strong faculty partnerships. The Assistant Director is part of the broader Pipeline Team at UW Medicine Advancement and reports to the Senior Director for Faculty Engagement and Philanthropy Education.
