About The Position

Cultivates and solicits private financial support from individuals, foundations, corporations, and by special programs. Maintains a charitable giving program for the Athletics Department. Assists the Director of Development in establishing annual and long-range goals and objectives for generating private financial resources inclusive of individuals, foundations, corporations, and other support. Prepares and implements funding raising solicitation materials, prospect lists, and reports as appropriate. Coordinates efforts of fund-raising volunteers as necessary. Acknowledges receipt of gifts from donors and implements appropriate stewardship programs. Makes direct calls to prospective contributors as necessary and appropriate.

Requirements

  • Requires a relevant Bachelor's Degree.
  • Preferred minimum 2 years experience fund raising or equivalent experience.

  • Experience in higher education is preferred.
