About The Position

We are seeking a motivated Assistant Director to help lead our school, support our teaching team, and ensure operational excellence. As an Assistant Director, You Will: Lead by example, creating a positive, professional, and supportive culture for staff and families Ensure the center consistently meets Michigan licensing, health, and safety requirements Recruit, train, coach, and develop a high-performing team of teachers and staff Support and guide teachers in delivering a high-quality early childhood education program Partner with the Center Director to drive enrollment, family satisfaction, and retention Help manage daily operations including staffing, scheduling, payroll, and basic financial reporting Conduct in-person and virtual tours for prospective families and represent the center at community events

Requirements

  • Experience in early childhood education leadership, childcare administration, or preschool management
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
  • Knowledge of state licensing, staffing, and center operations
  • Passion for building strong teams and delivering excellent family experiences
