The Assistant Deli & Meat Manager position works directly with the Deli & Meat Manager, with a focus on Meat & Cheese, to maintain, grow, and run a successful team, ensuring excellent customer outcomes, effective team leadership, a positive and safe work environment, organized and efficient operations, a visually appealing space, sound financial outcomes and the production and packaging of high-quality foods . Specific areas of accountability include customer service, onboarding and training, shift supervision, support of general operations, safety and sanitation, purchasing , merchandising, and financial duties.
