The primary responsibilities of the Assistant Dean Rad Tech Program are related to the day-to day operations, course and faculty scheduling, human resource management, student engagement, and execution of the goals and objectives of the Program. Additional responsibilities include but are not limited to: participation in strategic planning, situational leadership, goals and objectives formulation and accomplishment, and systematic evaluation of educational outcomes. The Program Director is responsible for the development, monitoring, supervision, implementation and evaluation of the program and its curriculum; incorporating delivery of both residential and distance education methods; oversight of program admissions criteria, academic progression and graduation of students; human resource responsibilities to include hiring, evaluation, and termination of faculty; and, responsibility for the planning and administration of the program's budget. The Program Director shall maintain professional competence in their specific discipline through such activities as practice, continuing education programs, conferences, workshops, seminars, academic courses, research projects, and professional writing. Essential functions are fundamental job duties, knowledge, skills and abilities that are necessary to perform the position.
