About The Position

The Assistant Culinary Manager collaborates closely with the Culinary Manager to oversee all facets of kitchen operations. This includes ensuring high-quality food preparation, consistent presentation, and strict adherence to safety and sanitation standards. The role demands a blend of hands-on culinary expertise and strong leadership skills to effectively guide and inspire the kitchen team.

Requirements

  • Minimum one year of experience as Culinary Manager
  • Certification in a Dietary Manager course or Associate’s Degree in Culinary/Hospitality Management
  • Current and valid ServSafe Manager’s Food Safety Certificate
  • Demonstrates C.A.R.E. values (Compassion, Accountability, Relationships and Excellence) to our residents, family members, customers and staff

  • Lead, hire, train, evaluate and schedule kitchen staff
  • Create a comforting and engaging atmosphere for our residents
