Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Minimum age of 21
  • A genuine passion for cooking and food preparation.
  • Previous experience in a kitchen or food production environment is a plus.
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices.
  • Ability to work as part of a team and follow instructions effectively.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Good communication skills to interact with team members and supervisors.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in meal preparation and cooking under the guidance of the head chef.
  • Help in maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment.
  • Measure and mix ingredients according to recipes or instructions.
  • Prepare ingredients by washing, chopping, and marinating as needed.
  • Ensure that food quality standards are met and maintained during preparation.
  • Assist in plating and presenting dishes for service.
  • Assists in kitchen clean-up, washing dishes, cleaning and sanitizing the food preparation area to ensure sanitation and cleanliness of all food service areas
  • Support the kitchen team with inventory management and stock rotation.
