The Cook Assistant supports the meals program in accordance with GWHC policies and procedures to conform to federal/state/city requirements. The Cook Assistant needs to ensure that food quality standards, inventory levels, food safety guidelines, and customer service expectations are met under the supervision of the Lead Cook or Kitchen Manager. The cook assistant will be responsible for reporting any food/kitchen/donation issues to the GWHC Manager on Duty.
