Thanks to our rapid growth, we’re excited to be expanding our accounting department and adding another Assistant Controller to help support our continued success. The Assistant Controller will support the Controller in managing the company's accounting operations, financial reporting, projects, and internal controls. This position requires a strong understanding of accounting principles, leadership capabilities, and the ability to work in a fast-paced and growing environment.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite, SAP) and Microsoft Excel.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and desire accuracy.
  • Effective communication and leadership skills.
  • Proven ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the preparation and review of financial statements, ensuring accuracy before submission to controller
  • Oversee general ledger activities, including journal entries, reconciliations, and month-end closing processes.
  • Assist with forecasting, and financial analysis to support strategic decision-making.
  • Provide guidance and supervision to accounting staff & management
  • Support process improvements and system enhancements for efficiency.
  • Collaborate with internal departments and as needed.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.
