Requirements

• 5+ years progressive professional experience
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting

Nice To Haves

• Knowledge of construction industry financial practices and forms preferred

Responsibilities

• Must demonstrate and model Zolman's core values.
• Prepares month end financial statements and schedules
• Prepares and files required state and local sales/use tax, privilege tax and other returns
• Files required state annual reports and personal property tax returns
• Prepares various monthly reconciliations and reports as assigned by the VP of Finance
• Communicates activities, results, and observations with team members, management, clients, and trade partners as appropriate
• Assists with processing of accounts payable invoices for payment
• Identifies and records appropriate related party allocation for payroll and G&A expenses on a monthly basis
• Prepares all trade partner payments per approved pay sheets and produces applicable waivers
• Coordinates with department managers and commercial/retail divisions to create annual budget
• Updates monthly projections to reflect changes in spending, policies or new information
