Job Summary: The Assistant Controller will play a critical leadership role in driving the accuracy of financial reporting, as well as, efficiency and scalability of OpenGov's accounting operations. Reporting to the Controller, this leader will oversee the Corporate Accounting and Payroll functions, ensuring timely, high-quality financial reporting and operational excellence across the business. As a key partner to Finance and business leaders, the Assistant Controller will bring both technical accounting expertise and a process-optimization mindset to help OpenGov scale. The ideal candidate thrives in a dynamic, high-growth environment-someone who can roll up their sleeves to improve systems and controls while also stepping back to design for the next stage of growth.
