About The Position
Assistant Controller Position Summary... ARL Bio Pharma is the leading pharmaceutical quality testing laboratory in the country and is creating exceptional opportunities for its Team Members by virtue of growth. Because of the Company’s federal obligations and directives, as an employee of an analytical laboratory such as ARL Bio Pharma Inc., you will be subject to drug and alcohol testing, including random testing. Marijuana is one of the substances included in the drug panel screening. Possession of a medical marijuana license will not excuse you from the testing process, or the consequences of testing positive for marijuana. Work Schedule: This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Accounting, Finance or related discipline
- Accounting designation (CPA, CMA, or CA) completed or in-process.
- Minimum 5 years general ledger or corporate accounting experience
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Strong analytical and organizational skills
- Ability to work closely with a senior management team
Nice To Haves
- NetSuite or comparable ERP system experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Manage accounting close process
- General Ledger reconciliations, and manage financial reporting requirements
- Hands on leadership of purchasing, payables, receivable or other accounting function as assigned
- Partner with operational leadership to enhance internal controls
- Compile and analyze financial reporting packages
- Assist with forecasting and annual operating budgets
- Contribute to staff development
- Communicate financial metrics of assigned entities to senior management
