Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field is required
  • Significant progressive accounting experience, including management experience.
  • Strong knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting and accounting systems.
  • Experience with ERP systems and advanced excel skills.
  • Exceptional leadership, problem-solving, analytical and communication skills.

Nice To Haves

  • CPA Designation is highly desired.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee accounting operations, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll and fixed assets.
  • Prepare, analyze and oversee consolidated financial statements ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Coordinate with the Controller to implement and maintain efficient financial procedures
  • Assist with regulatory reporting and audits to maintain compliance standards.
  • Coordinate and manage external audits, providing leadership and oversight to ensure smooth processes.
  • Supervise and mentor accounting staff, promoting professional development and operational excellence.
  • Define roles, responsibilities, and workflows to optimize team efficiency and accuracy.
  • Evaluate and improve accounting systems, processes, and procedures to enhance accuracy, efficiency, and scalability.
  • Lead process improvement initiatives to optimize ERP system utility and overall operational efficiency
  • Serve as a financial leader and business partner to operating company management teams, providing financial insights and guidance to support strategic decisions.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with operations and corporate leadership on financial and project-related matters.
  • Complete ad hoc financial analysis and special projects as requested by controller and leadership.
