Assistant Controller responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following: Assist in the preparation and analysis of monthly financial results and position across multiple business units in collaboration with the National Service Center finance team. Prepare and maintain financial reports, dashboards, and KPIs to monitor key operational, client, and financial metrics. Support development and consolidation of periodic forecasts. Perform variance analysis and help develop actionable insights to improve performance. Review journal entries, account reconciliations, and monthly close processes for accuracy and completeness. Support management of transactional processing functions including A/P, A/R, billing, payroll, and general ledger maintenance and in relation with the business (account manager, program coordinator, etc…) Participate in process improvement initiatives to streamline financial operations and reporting. Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and internal controls. Essential Duties: Maintain confidentiality and adhere to all policies established by Eurofins and its clients. Demonstrate strong analytical and problem-solving skills in all areas of responsibility. Promote and exemplify the company’s vision and values in day-to-day operations. Ensure timely and accurate transaction processing in support of business operations. Assist in audits and regulatory reporting as required. Perform other duties as assigned. Knowledge Requirements: Accounting and Financial Management – A solid working understanding of core accounting principles and financial measurement and management. Analysis and Technology Tools – Advanced knowledge on analysis methods and applicable technology tools, including Excel and basic database applications to support business operations through financial and KPI measurement and management. Administration and Management — Knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, human resources modeling, leadership techniques, production methods, and coordination of people and resources. Customer and Personal Service — Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services. This includes customer needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of customer satisfaction.
