Assistant Controller / Associate Director - Finance Edison, NJ | On-site, Full-Time We are seeking a hands-on finance leader to manage the financial close process and ensure accuracy and compliance across global operations. This role requires strong expertise in accounting, payroll, and financial reporting, with the ability to collaborate effectively across HR, Finance, and Audit teams worldwide.

Requirements

• CPA with 5+ years of experience, including experience in multi-entity, multi-currency environment in software/tech companies.
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP and financial controls.
• Proactive, detail-oriented, and analytical professional with excellent collaboration skills.
• Experience with NetSuite or similar ERP systems a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead monthly and quarterly close, ensuring timely and accurate reporting under US GAAP.
• Manage accounting operations including accruals, allocations, intercompany, and consolidations.
• Oversee payroll processing / accounting for US, UK, Australia, and Canada, maintaining detailed employee cost schedules.
• Front-end the external audit process and ensure all internal controls and compliance requirements are met.
• Collaborate with HR and Geo Finance teams on audit and reporting alignment.
• Partner with the Global Controller on ad hoc projects and system/process improvements.
• Develop expertise in NetSuite ERP and drive automation and efficiency initiatives.
