About The Position

Summary To assist in the management of contract janitorial services and operations within guidelines of the Statement of Work (SOW). Assist in managing contracts in a cost-effective manner by establishing and applying sound management policies pertaining to the organization. Assist in maintaining quality of work based on SOW. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Directly supervise and train personnel. Determine the work to be done and how it is done with the Contract Manager. Ensure that the work tasks, along with the quality of work done by all employees per the Statement of Work, are completed in an efficient manner. Assign duties, as necessary, for the fulfillment of the SOW. Maintain the supplies needed to complete job tasks; ensure equipment and supplies are kept in an orderly fashion. Operate within budgeted hours to complete required work. Maintain records necessary to the operation. Update safety board and perform safety drills monthly. Responsible for the safety and well-being of employees. Assist with offsite contracts, as needed. Responsible for the equal opportunity employment efforts and results; must take action to prevent harassment of employees. Comply with all Agency policies, procedures, and safety standards throughout work areas and maintain same to meet CARF, DOL and other regulatory standards. Other duties assigned by the Contract Manager. ASSIST CONTRACT MANAGER IN: Adhering to and maintaining a quality control plan, daily issues log, and follow-up customer service. Meeting required direct labor ratio for people with disabilities through training and developing individuals to meet their full vocational potential. Maintaining stable workforce. Training all employees in basic disability awareness and issues. Facilitating monthly safety meetings. Ensuring that policies and procedures are properly followed. Maintenance of equipment; ensuring proper utilization. Updating all records pertaining to operations of contract. Addressing complaints and resolving problems. Maintaining a safe and orderly work environment. Ordering supplies. Other duties may be assigned at the direction of the Contract Manager.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Two years of Supervisor or Management experience.
  • To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
  • Employee must maintain a valid driver's license and a driving record acceptable to Goodwill's liability insurance provider.
  • If at any time the employee is unable to maintain a valid driver’s license and a driving record acceptable to GESMV’s liability insurance provider, they must immediately notify Human Resources.
  • Must maintain the ability to pass a criminal background check and random drug screens.
  • Must have reliable transportation to and from the work site.
  • Proven ability to supervise.
  • Possess proficient computer skills for maintaining and updating records.
  • Ability to prepare numerical reports.
