About The Position

The Assistant Concessions Manager is responsible for assisting the Concessions Manager in the overall management and operation of all food and beverage concessions within the water park. This includes overseeing staff, managing inventory, ensuring food safety and quality, and maximizing profitability. This position reports to the Concessions Manager.

Requirements

High School Diploma or equivalent required
ServSafe Manager Certification required.
Minimum 1 year of experience in food service management, or equivalent
Strong organizational and time-management skills
Proven ability to manage and motivate a team
Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds
Knowledge of food cost analysis and inventory control systems
Must be certified or willing to attain certification in CPR & First Aid within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

Supervise all concession stand operations, including staffing, scheduling, and daily production.
Ensure the cleanliness and sanitation of all concession areas and equipment.
Monitor food and beverage quality, ensuring freshness and adherence to established standards
Conduct daily and weekly inventory counts of all food, beverage, and supplies
Place orders for food, beverage, and supplies to maintain adequate stock levels.
Recruit, hire, train, and supervise concession stand staff, including cashiers and food handlers.
Manage cash handling procedures and ensure accurate daily cash reconciliations.
Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal health and safety regulations.
Conduct regular food safety inspections and maintain necessary documentation including temperature control sheets, sanitation records, cleaning logs, and other standard food safety regulations.
Manage and track inventory costs to minimize waste and maximize profitability
Other duties as assigned by the supervisor
