About The Position

SUMMARY OBJECTIVE: Support to the Compliance function by assisting in the implementation of the risk-based corporate-wide Compliance Management and Identity Theft Red Flags Programs. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: 1. Utilize training to become familiar with regulatory expectations in the areas of Regulatory Compliance. Develop an understanding of how changes in regulation impacts the Bank’s policies, procedures, and programs. 2. Function as the HMDA Coordinator, responsible for the quarterly scrub of HMDA data provided by the respective business lines and compiling the data to prepare for annual submission. 3. Assist in the completion of the annual compliance testing program. Analyze information to identify gaps in the AmeriServ’s Compliance Management System and suggest corrective actions. 4. Track Community Development activities, to include tracking investments, lending, donation and service hours. 5. Review of all marketing materials to ensure they meet applicable regulatory guidelines. 6. Manage the Ncontract Ncomply to ensure corporate policies are current, complaint management and regulation updates. 7. Review of the bank’s Identity Theft Red Flags, to include review of red flags risk assessment, procedures, and training. 8. Sit as a member for both the Compliance, CRA/Fair Lending Committees and IT Tech Committee. 9. Manage the organization’s annual Compliance Training Plan. WORK ENVIRONMENT: This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines. PHYSICAL DEMANDS: The employee is frequently required to: 1) Type or otherwise work with fingers; 2) Talk expressing or exchanging ideas by means of the spoken word. Those activities in which they must convey detailed or important spoken instructions to other workers or clients accurately, loudly, or quickly; 3) Hearing – perceiving the nature of sounds at normal speaking levels with/without correction. Ability to receive detailed information through oral communication and make the discriminations in sound; 4) Specific vision abilities required by this job include: viewing a computer monitor; extensive reading. Sedentary work may require occasionally lifting of up to 10 pounds and/or move up to 25 pounds. This work involves sitting most of the time with walking and sitting. Ethical Conduct EDUCATION, TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE: Bachelor’s Degree is required, along with Ten (10) years of banking related experience.
