About The Position

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Assistant Commercial Property Manager to support the day-to-day management of a commercial property portfolio in the Westlake and Dripping Springs areas of Austin, Texas. This is a 100% in-office position that requires frequent local travel between properties. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in commercial real estate operations, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to work effectively with tenants, vendors, and internal stakeholders.

Requirements

  • 1–2 years of commercial real estate or property management experience required
  • Strong working knowledge of commercial property operations
  • Yardi proficiency strongly preferred
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required
  • Ability to travel locally up to 50% of the time between Westlake and Dripping Springs
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
  • Strong organizational, communication, and time-management skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

Responsibilities

  • Assist the Commercial Property Manager with daily operations of assigned commercial properties
  • Coordinate and oversee maintenance requests, repairs, and vendor services
  • Support tenant relations, including responding to inquiries, coordinating move-ins/move-outs, and assisting with tenant communications
  • Assist with lease administration, including abstracting leases, tracking critical dates, and maintaining accurate records
  • Prepare and organize reports related to property operations, expenses, and occupancy
  • Process invoices, assist with budgeting, and support accounts payable functions
  • Maintain accurate property records and documentation within property management systems
  • Conduct regular property inspections and report findings
  • Ensure properties are maintained in accordance with company standards and lease requirements
  • Provide general administrative support to the property management team as needed
