Student and Campus Life (SCL) at Cornell University inspires transformation in all Cornell students. Athletics and Physical Education offers diverse programs including physical and outdoor education, recreational services, intramural sports, intercollegiate athletic competition, and Wellness programs. The Assistant Coach for Men’s & Women’s Squash assists with team and player development and training, practice and match planning, evaluation of athlete performances, and provides recommendations to the head coach regarding participation in competitions. This position also involves assisting with ongoing recruitment of prospective athletes, including on- and off-campus responsibilities. Coaches are expected to support student-athletes academically and integrate them with university and department services. The Assistant Coach participates in scheduling, planning, and travel arrangements, which may include transporting athletes to away competitions. Additional duties may include researching and recommending equipment purchases, communicating with alumni and friends of the program, and assisting with fundraising. This is a 10-month per year, 1-year fixed-term position, with the possibility of extension dependent on continued funding, business needs, and performance. The 10-month salary for this position is $54,540. This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship.
