To provide assistance to the head coach. To plan, organize and implement the teaching of fundamentals, strategies, rules and proper condition in the assigned sport, designed to meet the needs and interest of student athletes. To provide effective leadership that will ensure a positive learning environment and will stress the importance of academic achievement as well as competitiveness. To demonstrate a high degree of ethics, professionalism, human relations and be a positive role model for all students. This position is that of an assistant coach and is represented by Monroe Education Association collective bargaining unit. The position of head coach will work a schedule determined by the athletic season. Salary and benefits as determined by the current collective bargaining agreement. Coaching salaries vary depending on the coaching assignment, coaching experience, and the level of competition.
