About The Position

The Assistant Club Manager will be responsible for assisting the Club Manager with day-day club operations to ensure that performance and objectives are met to deliver an exceptional “Judgement Free” member experience!

Requirements

6 – 12 months of experience in retail management is preferred.
Must be 18 years of age or older.
Ability to pass a background check.
Possess the ability to lead a team with strong communication/organization skills.
Ability to analyze and think strategically and rationally.
Exhibit attention to detail.
Willing to become CPR/AED Certified prior to gaining employment and maintain your certification while employed.
Competent with Microsoft Suite.
Continual standing and moving throughout the club during shift.
Able to work more than 40 hours per week
Ability to work overnight, if needed.
Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
Will encounter toxic chemicals during shift.
Frequent cleaning and sanitizing of equipment and facilities.
Some bending, twisting, and reaching are required to accomplish tasks.

Responsibilities

Assist in recruiting, hiring, training, and developing a high-performing staff that consists of Member Services Representatives, Fitness Instructors, and Overnight Member Services Representatives.
Assist with staff management and provide support to the Club Manager with reporting, inventory, and other assigned duties as needed.
Resolve member concerns in a fair and equitable manner.
Provide quality guest tours, info calls, and a positive member interaction that maximizes operating performance, membership sales, and retention.
Assist in administering and enforcing company policies and procedures with staff and members.
Ensure the gym is operated in a safe, and professional manner.
Perform daily inspections to maintain the cleanliness of the gym.
