About The Position

We are looking for energetic, enthusiastic people who are passionate about health and fitness to join our team. The Assistant Club Manager (ACM) at Crunch Fitness is a high-energy leader responsible for assisting the Club Manager in the daily operations, sales, and management of the club. Reporting directly to the Club Manager, you will be a key driver in ensuring our 'No Judgments' philosophy is felt by every member who walks through our doors. The ideal candidate is a proactive leader who excels in sales, enjoys developing staff, and is obsessed with providing a world-class member experience.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • CPR/AED certification (must be obtained within 30 days of hire)
  • Proven track record in achieving sales goals and managing a team
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills with high attention to detail
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficiency in MS Office and the ability to learn club management software quickly

Nice To Haves

  • 1–2 years of management experience in a fitness, retail, or hospitality environment preferred.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Drive membership and personal training sales through consistent lead generation and follow-up.
  • Oversee the sales process from initial inquiry to closing, ensuring all team members are trained on effective sales techniques.
  • Monitor daily, weekly, and monthly sales goals and implement strategies to meet or exceed targets in coordination with the Club Manager.
  • Assist the Club Manager in the recruitment, hiring, and training of club staff.
  • Conduct performance evaluations and provide ongoing coaching and feedback to ensure team growth and accountability.
  • Manage staff scheduling to ensure optimal club coverage and member service levels.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized club environment by conducting frequent facility walkthroughs.
  • Ensure all equipment is in working order and coordinate with maintenance for any necessary repairs.
  • Support the Club Manager with administrative tasks including payroll processing and reporting.
  • Resolve member concerns and inquiries with a professional and solution-oriented approach.
  • Foster a welcoming environment that encourages member retention and community engagement.
  • Assist in the planning and execution of club events and local marketing outreach.
