The Mississippi State University College of Veterinary Medicine has an Assistant Clinical Professor for Small Animal Emergency Medicine position available, to work at the Animal Health Center in Starkville. The new Assistant Clinical Professor will join four other faculty members (two assistant professors and two clinical instructors) on the Small Animal Emergency and ICU clinical service and rotation, with a newly hired board-certified criticalist as well. Service responsibilities involve emergency duty, primary and secondary clinical case management, and consultation with private practitioners. Teaching responsibilities will involve clinical training for veterinary professional students, house officers and veterinary medical technology students enrolled in the academic program. Assistant Clinical Professors will be expected to play a role in enhancing the quality of patient care and teaching in our Emergency/ICU senior veterinary student rotation.
