About The Position

Opal Autism Centers is seeking an Assistant Clinical Director with a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification. This role involves supporting the clinical leadership team in implementing best practices in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), overseeing and mentoring staff to deliver high-quality services, developing treatment plans, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. The position aims to contribute to impactful interventions for children with autism and their families, offering an opportunity for experienced BCBAs to advance their careers in a dynamic and supportive environment.

Requirements

  • Master's degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Psychology, or a related field.
  • Valid BCBA certification from the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB).
  • At least 1 year of experience working in the field of ABA as a BCBA.
  • Experience in developing and overseeing individualized behavior intervention plans.
  • Familiarity with current ABA methodologies and ethical standards.
  • Proficient in data analysis and electronic documentation systems.
  • Strong leadership and mentoring skills, with the ability to inspire and support staff.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with clients and families.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development and education within the field of ABA.

Nice To Haves

  • 2 years of experience working in the field of ABA as a BCBA in a supervisory role.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in supervising the clinical operations of the center, ensuring services meet quality and regulatory standards.
  • Develop and oversee the implementation of individualized treatment plans.
  • Provide mentorship and training for BCBAs, Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs), and other clinical staff.
  • Conduct regular reviews of client progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
  • Engage with families to provide support and education on behavior principles.
  • Collaborate with the clinical director to foster a positive workplace culture and promote continuous professional development.
  • Stay current with ABA best practices and ethical guidelines.
