About The Position

At Lighthouse Autism Center (LAC), the focus is on combining values and clinical expertise to provide collaborative, compassionate care for the best outcomes for learners. They emphasize evolving with the field of ABA, utilizing naturalistic teaching strategies, assent & trauma-informed care, and frequent, combined meetings amongst professionals (BCBAs, SLPs, & OTs) to create comprehensive treatment packages. LAC is seeking a talented BCBA to serve as an Assistant Clinical Director (ACD). In this role, the ACD will manage a caseload of learners and support the Clinical Director (CD) with daily clinic tasks. The ACD will also cover for the CD during absences (PTO, maternity leave, etc.), serving as the primary contact for operational and clinical needs. The position includes training on center-specific responsibilities to prepare the ACD for future advancement to a Clinical Director role. LAC emphasizes professional development and growth for its BCBAs.

Requirements

  • Master's degree encompassing behavior analytic content
  • Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) credential
  • Able to provide supervision to Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs)

Responsibilities

  • Maintain a caseload of learners
  • Support the Clinical Director (CD) with daily tasks in the clinic
  • Stand in for the CD while they are out on PTO, maternity leave, or other scheduled appointments, serving as an individual to report to for operational and clinical needs
  • Learn and be trained on center-specific responsibilities over time to develop skills to become a CD in the future
  • Provide supervision to Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs)
