Job Overview The Clinic Assistant Director assists in managing a single or multiple clinics, providing ambulatory patient care services by supervising daily operations and patient care activities. The Assistant Director ensures staff provide high-quality, accessible, cost-effective, and patient-focused services to patients across the continuum that comply with local, state, and federal requirements. In addition, the Assistant Director implements and supervises the maintenance of clinical practice standards, budgets, and staff development. Lastly, the Assistant Director assists in integrating services/operations with nursing standards of practice, service priorities, and performance/outcome measures, as well as with business, departmental, and organizational goals/objectives.
