As an Assistant City Attorney, you’ll prosecute both criminal and civil violations of the City’s Municipal Code, provide representation in lawsuits and perform legal research. You’ll also review documents, prepare and draft briefs, pleadings, and legal opinions, participate in court hearings and trials, provide legal advice relating to risk exposures, and advise City departments and agencies concerning legislation.
