About The Position

CRI-Help is a substance use disorder treatment center with several locations across Los Angeles County. Basic Functions Assist the Chief Support Technician with daily responsibilities, including supervising the Support Technicians, monitoring daily program operations, ensuring adherence to policy and procedures within the Technicians Department, and acting as the responsible party in the absence of the Chief Support Technician.

Requirements

  • Must be knowledgeable in identifying patterns common to this population.
  • Must have a working knowledge of CRI-Help’s structure and processes.
  • Must be able document client activities.
  • Must have thorough understanding of Narcotics Anonymous and Alcoholics Anonymous.
  • Must have a High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Must be in the process of obtaining alcohol and / or drug studies certification from CCAPP, CAADE or CADTP.
  • Must have unexpired CPR / First Aid Training Certification (classroom only).
  • Must have a minimum of two years of experience as a Support Technician and / or Senior Support Technician.
  • Must be willing to undergo random drug screenings.

Responsibilities

  • Inventory cleaning and linen supplies, and inform the Chief Support Technician of special needs and/or concerns.
  • Ensure vehicle maintenance.
  • Assist Chief Support Technician in designating specific Technician assignments in relation to facility upkeep.
  • Act as Chief Support Technician in the absence of the Chief Support Technician.
  • Ensure Technician adherence to policy and procedures.
  • Assist Chief Support Technician in monitoring the treatment documentation systems of the Technicians to ensure that a high quality of documentation is being maintained.
  • Identify problems and solutions within the Technicians Department and report problems to the Chief Support Technician
  • Assist the Chief Support Technician with the ongoing training, upgrading, and implementation of new systems within the Technicians Department.
  • Assist the Chief Support Technician to ensure that the facility is clean and safe at all times.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned by the Chief Support Technician.
