About The Position

Assistant camp directors ensure camp sessions run smoothly by supporting staff, campers, and activities. They work closely with the director team to facilitate training, run day-to-day activities, respond to camper and staff needs, schedule activities, and coach staff. Assistant camp directors set the tone and culture of camp by living Christian Science, serving joyfully, communicating clearly, and responding thoughtfully to needs. Assistant horsemanship director ensures camp sessions run smoothly by supporting corral staff, campers, and activities. They work closely with the horsemanship director to facilitate training, run day-to-day corral activities, respond to camper and staff needs, schedule activities, and coach staff. The assistant horsemanship director sets the tone and culture of the corral and camp by living Christian Science, serving joyfully, communicating clearly, and responding thoughtfully to needs.

Requirements

  • Live a demonstrated commitment to Christian Science
  • At least 18 years old, high school graduate or equivalent at time of employment
  • Willingness to uphold high moral and ethical standards
  • Leadership experience in a role working closely with others
  • Enthusiasm for working with young people with love, patience, and consistency
  • Ability to flexibly support in a variety of areas as needs arise
  • Ability to participate in outdoor adventure and recreational activities
  • Ability and willingness to live in a cabin with other staff when needed
