Assistant Buyer
About The Position

The Assistant Buyer supports the procurement team in sourcing established raw materials and components. This role provides exposure to purchase order processing. Essential Functions Assist in sourcing raw material and components. Prepare and process purchase orders and quotes under supervision. Track shipments and delivery schedules Ensure products are ordered and delivered to the correct locations. Track purchase orders from creation through receipt and resolve discrepancies. Provide support to resolve shipment discrepancies and invoice issues. Other duties as assigned. Required Education and Experience GED preferred. Experienced working with ERP system. Attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Strong analytical and numerical skills. Strong organizational and time management abilities. Competencies Strong sense of time organization and urgency. Able to work independently and within a team. Exemplary customer care skills. Good analytical and problem-solving skills. Effective communication and people skills. An initiative-taking, creative, honest, and self-reliant personality Candidate must be self-starting, efficient, and organized. Fluency in English. Travel Requirements No travel required. Physical Demands Prolonged periods of sitting, standing, laptop use, etc. Required to adhere to all physical requirements involving being able to lift and/ or move up to forty pounds.
