About The Position

Kneaders Bakery & Cafe is seeking a talented part-time Assistant Bread Baker who is passionate about food quality, customer service, and community. This role offers the opportunity to join a dynamic team and contribute to a unique menu of artisan, sweet, and seasonal breads, all baked with honest, whole ingredients.

Requirements

• Proven track record of demonstrating superhero abilities in the kitchen from following recipes to paying close attention to additional details to create one-of-a-kind breads
• Ability to lift large amounts of dough, flour, and other supplies weighing 50 lbs. plus
• Ability to stand, lift, and mix daily
• Ability to work through change and be flexible
• Schedule availability to work afternoons/nights, including a shift on Sunday (when the store is closed)
• Attentiveness to compliance with local, state, and federal regulations for food handler and sanitation standards
• Must be at least 18 years of age

Nice To Haves

• Large-scale baking/pastry experience
• Formal baking/pastry education
