The Assistant Branch Manager ensures the branch meets or exceeds operations standards and is responsible for satisfactory audits. This role monitors sales and service goals, coaching team members to deepen customer relationships using Client and Business Financial Review. The Assistant Branch Manager develops and maintains strong, long-term relationships with consumers and businesses in the local community, providing proactive solutions and problem resolutions in alignment with the bank’s Breakthrough Client Service Standards. The position acts as backup to the personal banking team for opening new accounts, receiving loan requests, and gathering credit-related information. It involves managing, leading, training, and coaching Tellers, and may also oversee personal bankers in collaboration with the Branch Manager. Technical tasks include opening and closing the branch, overdraft monitoring, wire transfers and collections, stop payments, and monitoring branch controls. This position requires registration as a Bank MLO for open-end transactions (e.g., home equity lines of credit) only, and is not authorized for closed-end transactions.
