About The Position

"People Helping People" It is what we do at Frontier Community Credit Union. We are looking for an experienced Assistant Branch Manager at the Fort Leavenworth location. The Assistant Branch Manager provides the administration and efficient daily operation of a full-service Branch office, including operations, loans, product sales, member services, security, and safety. Retains and develops new account and loan business; promotes all products and services of the credit union. Participates in base events to increase the cu's visibility and to enhance new and existing business opportunities through marketing strategies. Branch Hours Monday - Friday 8:00 am - 5:00 pm, Saturday 8:45 am - 12:00 pm (At least one Saturday per month) Ensure all hours are scheduled with staff

Requirements

  • Excellent member focus with an understanding of how to adapt to each member while focusing on the outcome to solve problems efficiently.
  • The ability to multitask, working proficiently while conversing on the phone and in person, searching for information, reading, typing, and quickly learning new technology.
  • A preference to working in an ever-changing, fast-paced environment where you effectively manage time and exhibit reliability and dependability in attendance.
  • Emotional resiliency to manage feelings and find positive aspects in most situations.
  • Minimum 2-3 years of lead type experience - prefer with a financial institution
  • Intermediate computer skills, including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook), and the ability to learn and navigate multiple technology platforms while interacting with members.

  • Experience with Symitar Core system (Plus)

Responsibilities

  • Maintain a working knowledge of lending policies, guidelines, and loan products to aggressively pursue loans and cross-sell other loan products.
  • Develop relationships with members and potential members to continually grow the branch operation in shares and loans.
  • Implement and maintain branch security measures, periodic reviews of cash levels, security procedures, and regular inspections of the branch facility; alarms, vault, security codes, keys, safety, and ensure equipment works.
  • Responsible for Opening and Closing Procedures.
