As a strong support to the Branch Manager, the Assistant Branch Manager supervises daily activities to ensure high quality customer service. This role involves coaching and development of branch staff, demonstrating core values, and providing superior customer experience. The Assistant Branch Manager maintains an appropriate focus on sales activities and related results, monitors, identifies and controls compliance risks and operational exposure, and assists with management of the branch budget. The position also involves identifying and establishing new relationship opportunities with customers and business partners, delivering solutions through needs-based conversations, and resolving customer issues. Supervisory oversight of branch operations, compliance, and risk is also a key part of the role, ensuring branch profitability and team understanding of information security and fraud risk. Additionally, the Assistant Branch Manager represents the bank in the local market through civic and community organizations.
