As our Assistant Branch Manager, you are responsible for delivering premier customer service to both existing and prospective customers by facilitating a wide range of banking transactions. This role ensures the operational soundness of the branch by maintaining compliance with policies, procedures, and risk management standards. Additionally, the Assistant Branch Manager provides supervision and mentoring to Personal Bankers, establishes centers of influence to attract new deposit and lending relationships, and assumes full management responsibilities in the absence of the Branch Manager. A successful Assistant Branch Manager will focus on customers, staff, and individual responsibilities to create a positive environment marked by accountability, follow-through, and operational soundness. This includes ensuring compliance with policies and procedures, maintaining risk controls, and driving positive outcomes through efficient branch operations and exceptional service Hours: Monday - Friday, 8am - 5pm. As Assistant Branch Manager, you will know you are successful if you can do the following confidently and independently. Process cash and non-cash banking transactions efficiently and accurately while delivering premier customer service. Open accounts and cross-selling products and services to meet customer financial needs, identifying referral sales opportunities. Balance cash drawers daily and reconcile Vault and ATM regularly with precision and adherence to security protocols. Contribute directly to achieving both personal and branch deposit growth goals. Ensure operational soundness by adhering to all retail and bank policies, procedures, audit, and compliance guidelines, complete required training promptly. Supervise Personal Bankers in the absence of the Branch Manager, ensuring compliance and operational integrity. Conduct teller training for new hires, including CSI and Teller capture, emphasizing accuracy and risk controls. Assist with daily, monthly, and quarterly operational responsibilities as directed by the Branch Manager, ensuring compliance and efficiency. Provide operational support for branch and bank staff members to maintain smooth and sound operations. Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned, with a focus on maintaining operational excellence.
