About The Position

The Assistant Branch Supervisor is responsible for the branch production and leadership in all areas of operations, member service, business development and lending, to ensure our members receive a high level of service while ensuring that all business, regulatory, and production requirements are met. The Assistant Branch Supervisor is responsible for running a single-person branch office, providing support to Branch Supervisors as needed, and developing and executing their offices’ strategic plan and business objectives.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Minimum of three years of experience in a financial institution
  • Minimum of one year in a supervisory position
  • Commitment to quality and strong member-centric perspective
  • Self-motivation including willingness to assist others and sound decision makingskills
  • Professionalism within oral and written communication skills
  • Consumer lending experience
  • Strong organizational skills while handling multiple

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Finance, or other related field is preferred
  • Credit Union or professional designations are preferred

Responsibilities

  • Ensure all branch staff can assist members in a professional,courteous, efficient manner while accurately executing transactions, account filemaintenance, opening or closing accounts, inputting or processing a loan application,and completing IRA documents etc
  • Build and maintain an environment where staff are evaluating members’ needsand cross selling products and services to meet those needs, in turn reaching thebranch sales goals as well as their individual sales goals
  • Assist Branch staff with questions that arise from dailyinteraction with members. Train and Develop staff so that they can be successful intheir goals
  • Capable of working in and troubleshooting multiplesystems, build working knowledge on regulations and policies in order to reinforceknowledge with staff, and able to multitask
  • Communicate effectively with the Branch Manager on all aspects relating to thebranch, whether member or staff related while representing HFCU in a professionalmanner to all internal and external customers, business partners, community andHonda Companies with a high degree of business ethics
  • Support Branch Manager with strategy to ensure all branch and individual goals andmetrics are met
  • Support Branch Manager to ensure all HFCU internal controls, policies and proceduresare followed and maintained
