About The Position

Waterford Public Schools has an immediate vacancy for a team-oriented individual. Waterford Public Schools is seeking an Assistant Boys Lacrosse Coach at Waterford High School effective for the Spring of the 25/26 school year. The assignment will be determined by the Head Coach based on availability and experience. The Assistant Coach may assist with Varsity and Junior Varsity. Waterford Public Schools serve approximately 2,400 students in grades PK-12. Our district is actively seeking to diversify its administration, faculty and staff to better reflect our students’ multiple identities and to bring a broader range of experiences into our district to continue to enhance the teaching and learning for ALL. The District’s facilities include three elementary schools, one middle school and one high school. The Waterford Board of Education is a nine-member elected body.

Requirements

CT Coaching Certification Required
Certifications: CPR/AED, First Aid, etc.
Lacrosse Expertise Experience: Previous high school or collegiate playing/coaching background
Rule Knowledge: Mastery of NFHS (High School) regulations
Availability: Commitment to daily afternoon practices and evening/weekend games
Communication: Effective coordination with the Head Coach, parents, and student-athletes
